Roger Brown

Roger, who was born and raised in Dubuque, has been working in automotive sales for 12 years. “I started in 2007 working in sales,” he says. “I have always been a techy, so the internet side of vehicle sales was a natural fit for me. I have been doing it ever since.” He enjoys seeing all the new technology in vehicles and has gotten to be a part of the automotive industry’s shift toward the internet. “I have seen the vehicle purchase experience change since 2007 in a good way for shoppers,” he said. “The internet provides several tools to help research their perfect vehicle. I am always here to help sort through that information!” At RundeAutoGroup.com, you can fill out an online trade evaluation, online credit application, [...]

If you noticed fireworks lighting up the western skies this past Friday, what you were probably witnessing was part of the festivities for the Annual Peosta Parade and Fun Day.   The sixth annual Peosta Days event was held in conjunction with the Annual Fireman’s Auction and the extravaganza promised something for kids of all ages. Friday’s events included the brilliant fireworks, skydivers, good food & drinks and live music featuring the band Hard Salami. On Saturday, the Peosta Days Parade took place and Doug Weig and his wife Angela were able to get some great shots of the Runde Chevrolet truck they drove in the parade.  It started at Mi-T-M and it ended up at the Peosta Rec Center.
Tim Meyer of Dubuque is an old bird when it come to selling new Chevrolet vehicles.  ( By “old bird”, we mean someone who has experience … a multitude of experience).  He recently came on board at Runde’s and has already had the pleasure of helping several wonderful people purchase new vehicles here. Tim has an extensive sales past and has a great appreciation for local business, arts and music. Absolutely, I come from pretty humble beginnings. I’m from an automobile parts family from here in Dubuque Iowa. My father ran an auto parts company called Sieg Dubuque [...]
The Detroit Auto Show is always bound to bring out the latest and greatest each manufacturer has to offer in their vehicle displays. Of the new and exciting things happening, Chevrolet unveiled the Sonic which acts as a replacement to the Chevrolet Aveo. While the Aveo’s departure from the lineup is a sad time for some, there is plenty of good to look forward to in the Sonic. At first glance it kind of feels like an Aveo, it was built to replace the Aveo and will probably be priced close to that of an Aveo… so what’s the difference? Glad you asked… Lets start off the bat with the engine. Remember the Ecotec 1.4L turbo that is available on the Chevy Cruze? It’s back, this time in a smaller and lighter package with the Sonic’s 6-speed manual @138hp will ensure your ride to have a great sense of speed and performance. Standard with the [...]
We all have nicknames for our friends and loved ones. America, as a whole, has deemed Chevrolet their friend as the “Chevy” nickname is uttered practically everywhere. But why don’t we usually call the brand by its full name?  Perhaps it sounds too French, n’est pas?  We’ll it begs the question, what do you prefer:  “Chevrolet” or “Chevy”??? Check out the video below for a quick view from GM’s perspective and let us know!
