Runde Chevrolet in East Dubuque recently had the opportunity to make a road trip to the Chicago Auto Show. We managed to pull up our jaws and glance at our cameras every once in awhile to snap some photos for you. We hope you enjoy viewing a few of the amazing vehicles that were there! Chevy ran an impressive show with an array of cars including the all- electrical Volt (left) and the new Equinox (right) [...]
Sparked with jealousy and envy I write this post. Filled to the brim in all things cool – movie and television characters have it all… including cars I and, apparently, my fellow co-workers want to have. We love seeing our favorite characters cruise, leap, fly, chase and swim with their outrageously sweet rides. Here’s a list of the top 5 cars from movies and television we appreciate the most. #5. 1969 Dodge Charger “General Lee” from The Dukes of Hazzard #4. 1970s Camaro, rebuilt as a 2008/2009 Camaro prototype in the 2007 movie Transformers #3. 1977 Firebird Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit #2. 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am “KITT” from Knight Rider #1. 67’ Shelby GT 500 Mustang “Eleanor” from Gone in 60 Seconds Horable mentions: The Mystery Machine Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Batmobile Herbie
Runde Ford-Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep has been graced with the presence of the TorRed 2009 Dodge Charger SXT. It’s found a new home in the showroom until someone takes it home with them. Wow, is that a great view?! It has a 3.5-Liter V6 engine and 4-speed automatic transmission, All-Speed Traction Control, and 17″ Aluminum wheels. It also has an 8-way power driver’s seat, AM/FM/CD/MP3/Satellite Radio, power adjustable pedals, power heated mirrors, power windows, and keyless entry, not to mention the other standard features that come on it. It is a great looking ride!…And rides well too. Come in to Runde Manchester to see our Charger! You’d look great driving it!!
