We used to have a trainer from GM that would go around to various dealerships in the area and teach the salespeople how to do better vehicle walk-arounds and essentially sell more cars in the process.  Everytime he was on the verge of touching on a unique feature of a car, he would foreshadow it with the phrase, “OK, now I’m going to put some money in your pocket.”  This usually meant that the car had a unique key feature that no other competitor had on their vehicles and it was going to help you sell more cars and thus — the money in the pocket thing. Now I’m going to put some money in your pocket.  Are you sick of getting charged beaucoup $$$ everytime you dial 411 or Directory Assistance to get a phone number when you’re on the go.  Not everyone has mobile internet access on their phones so if you’re [...]
Saw this today and thought I’d post it — it’s cute.  Granted I was never really much of a Madonna fan anyway so when I saw this, I was like Oh, ok.  I mean I like the songs and she has stayed on top of the music industry for a long time so she does command and deserve respect.  But I’m not so sure that she still deserves all the hype she gets.   I’d take Cyndi Lauper or Tori Amos any day of the month over Madonna.  She was just never at the top of my a-list … my apologies to any Material Girls out there who may be offended.  Please feel free to leave a comment if I touched a sore nerve or upset the Zen balance in your material world — just don’t remain Silent After all These Years — let it out, because after all is said and done … Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.  ‘Nuff said? Now that Clive Owen on the other [...]
This week I’d like to introduce you to Tim and Maryellen Engelke. Tim is a  is a farmer and Maryellen runs a daycare from out of their farm. Without any further delay, here they are: the Engelke’s… What vehicle did you guys buy? We got a Dodge Caravan. What led you to Runde’s? We were shopping online, it seemed like the best deal so we called up and the salesman was very nice and informative on the phone so we decided to give it a shot. Your salesman was Al Kloft, what you think of him? He definitely goes to work for you. He cares about his customers. One of the most lively people we’ve ever [...]

Keith Klein came in today to buy a vehicle. Before he left he was kind enough to let us interview him without any sort of bribery, thievery, or trickery. To our amazement, we sat down and got to know him a little better. What brought you to Runde’s today? Bought a car for my daughter – a 2002 Cavalier. Is it for school? Yea, back and forth – school and work. She works 15 miles away, up in the country, so it’s nice for her to have her own transportation. Did she want the car or was it more of a “dad” decision? Well, she was looking at Cavaliers and Grand Am’s but I helped her out and we came to a decision to buy this one. So is it a gift or are you gonna be outstandingly generous? [...]

It’s a beautiful day out as you get out of work and start driving home on a Friday evening. You enjoy the familiar scenes and look forward to getting home and relaxing with the family. Crossing the same intersection you always pass through, you notice a weird noise and look left – it’s a truck – the driver cannot stop and is going to hit you. Preparing for the impact, you wonder how and when the airbags are going to come out and protect you… but what if those airbags never activated?   According to The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) 1 in every 5 accidents that involve death was the result of a vehicle with a missing airbag. Of the accounts of fatal accidents happening between 2001 and 2006 (1,446) there were 255 accidents caused due to no airbags being installed, repaired or being installed [...]
