Please join us in welcoming Matt Gil to the sales staff of Runde PreDriven!
Matt has had a variety of experience in sales, as well as operations and project management. He also has served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT in Elgin, IA!
Originally from Idaho, he has lived in Cameron, WI, Elgin, IA, and now resides in Platteville, WI. He is excited to work with customers from all walks of life at Runde PreDriven in Hazel Green.
“We are selling a product that has such a high level of emotion and excitement surrounding it,” he said. “We have the opportunity to sell a young person their first car, to sell someone a tool that they can use for farming, ranching, or business, or to sell someone the car they always dreamed of owning. Auto sales is a very personal experience and unlike anything else!”
In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending time with his family – his wife, Mandi, 6-year-old son Weston, 4-year-old son Isaak, and 2-year-old twins Annika and Kohen – as well as hiking, gardening, hunting, fishing, photography, cooking (he tries to do a big family meal every Sunday night), architecture (he is a huge Frank Lloyd Wright fan), touring wineries (Botham in Barneveld is his favorite), and attending rock concerts.
Runde PreDriven has a variety of makes and models of vehicles available. Matt’s favorite vehicle is a Honda with lots of memories attached to it.
“I will always have a special place in my heart for a 1987 Honda Accord I used to own just out of high school,” he said. “I learned how to drive a manual transmission on that car, how to win drag races off the stoplights with only 98HP (Haha! I can joke about this now that the statute of limitations has long since expired), and went on some great road trips with that little car.”
Matt says he wants to make your experience at Runde PreDriven as memorable as that vehicle.
“Great customer service means listening more than talking, treating every customer like they were an old friend, and doing your best to take away the stress of making a big purchase decision,” he said. “It means giving the customer confidence, excitement, and the care will keep them coming back to Runde for years to come.”
Matt plans on going above and beyond to make that happen.
“I keep a drawer full of snacks for customers, coloring books for the kids, and cold waters for the folks wandering the lot on a hot day.” he said. “I will also get extra photos of the car, take videos, and give virtual test drives if requested.”
