Chevy’s Impressive Concepts at 2013 SEMA Show.
The big SEMA show is this week in Las Vegas, and for those of our fans who couldn’t make it to the show we have got wind of some sweet concepts Chevy has unveiled! Three Corvettes, four Camaros and an SS Sedan were on display for people to gawk at. Lets see what the buzz is all about…
1. Silverado Cheyenne
Chevy Stripped 200lbs from the standard Silverado by replacing the bumpers, tailgate and cargo box with carbon fiber. Added Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes and a Borla exhaust, changed out the 5.3-liter V8 with the an all-new 6.2-liter small-block V8 boasting 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque – one-upping the the stock Silverado by 65 hp and 77 lb-ft.
2. Jeff Gordon SS Performance Sedan Concept
Vivd red paint, 20-inch custom wheels, lowered suspension, a Borla Exhaust and reinforced brakes for additional stopping power. All powered by the impressive 6.2-liter V8. Suede and a flat-bottom steering wheel are part of the car’s interior
3. Corvette Stingray Gran Turismo Concept
Enduro-style, yellow-tinted headlights. Custom body kit and carbon-fiber rear wing, hood and front splitter. Also comes with optional Competition Seats with racing harnesses. The standard stingray engine remains.
4. Atlantic and Pacific-themed Corvettes
The Atlantic Concept features a custom exterior paint job, 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, windscreen, custom luggage and unique floormats.
The Pacific variant is a the Stingray Z51 Coupe with carbon-fiber hood, 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels and a unique, flat-bottomed steering wheel that adds some style
5. Camaro Spring Special Edition
This one is actually going into production! They are offering two variations, a 2LT which has a v6 engine and a 2SS which has a v8. The vehicle has Summit White paint with Blue Ray stripes. The ZL1 Spoiler is present and 21-inch wheels make the vehicle very pronounced. The interior has a blue-and-white theme, with a special blue fabric top. I’m on a hunch that the might be available around the spring of 2014.
6. Performance Garage/V6/V8 Camaro Concepts
These concepts are heavily influenced by the Z/28 and ZL1, with “shorty” headers and a 2.75″ exhaust. There are several suspension mods and an enhanced cooling system inside those impressive looking body kits.
