‘Cruze-in’ In Style
Chevrolet has released their intentions of producing a new compact car, the Chevy Cruze. It is a 5-passenger sedan, about the same length as the Cobalt, but execs say the Cruze will make better use of its’ interior space for passengers and cargo. Chevy is trying to lead in fuel economy, with the Cruze reaching a whopping 45 miles per gallon on the highway. They are offering 1.6-liter (112 hp) and 1.8-liter (140 hp) gas engines, and a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine.
It is expected to reach the U.S. late 2010, but will be released in Europe and Asia next year. It will be unveiled at the Paris Auto Show in October.
